Lemon-and-garlic-marinated flat iron steak
This flat iron steak requires a shorter preparation time than the previous spot on the list. The marinade is made up of salt, pepper, olive oil, garlic, and bay leaves. Cover the steak with lemon slices as it marinades inside the fridge for 24 hours. Once you get the steak out of the fridge, bring it to room temperature before cooking.
Grill the steak on moderate heat for 3.5 minutes on each side or until the steak reaches medium-rare. Rest the meat for five minutes before chopping it into thin slices.
Reverse sear steak
Reverse sear steak is a method where you pre-cook the steak in an oven before you sear it on the cast iron skillet. Start the steak by setting the meat at room temperature and seasoning it with salt and pepper. Preheat your oven at 200 F and cook the steak until it reaches 105 F (for rare) or 115 F (for medium rare).
Heat oil in a cast iron skillet before the meat is brought out of the oven. Place it onto the skillet right away and add butter. Sear the meat for 45 seconds on each side and serve it right away.
Skirt steak with paprika butter
Paprika butter is one of the best accompaniments to a skirt steak. Melt butter in a saucepan and stir some garlic in. Add the paprika, lemon juice, and salt. Meanwhile, the skirt steak will be cooked using grilled Texas ribeye treatment: being seasoned with salt and pepper while some oil is brushed on it.
Grill the skirt steak for three minutes per side until charred and medium rare. Rest for five minutes before chopping it into thin slices. Serve it with paprika butter on top.
